@amsomniac yeah. no one called me on this but I noticed it and immediately got defensive at myself. kinda irritated at myself for that reaction.
@Maenad internal call out can be great but it sucks when it kicks in after you've already said something ableist. It's also one of my big bigotry weak points, I'm lucky to have spoonie friends who've helped me to unlearn and retool :)
@Maenad If we were all perfect we'd all be boring, don't beat yourself up. We cringe, regularly, about typing then pressing Enter before thinking it through.
