c'est la fin
mon seulement ami, la fin
@candle If you want advice (idk if you do but I want to help) :
"only do..." -> "fais seulement"
"the only one" -> "le seul"
So it's "mon seul ami"
You're learning fast, I saw some of your toots ^^
Do you know about Memrise ? That's what I use to learn new languages.
@candle My example is bad, it might be more complicated, because "only him" -> "seulement lui"
Sorry I don't know the exact rule here ^^
@candle @phildenfer "seulement", like most words ending in "-ment" is an adverb, not an adjective; so it will never be used to qualify a noun! ('adverb' literally means "with a verb" :p )
@Louvelune @candle That's what I was looking for :p
