@candle Seriously, on common words it just shows you're a foreigner. It's no big deal, but you'd probably get corrected by people without thinking, it's an automatism... ^^°
There are words that WE frequently misgender ourselves, though. In case you thought we had some genetic superpower or something... :<

@Hiraelle @candle Les mots foireux qu'on utilise peu comme "caténaire", ceux qui ont un genre bizarre - genre "espace", quand on parle typographie, c'est féminin... tu le savais, toi? :p - ou ceux dont le genre a apparemment CHANGÉ selon les années, comme après-midi (https://fr.wiktionary.org/wiki/apr%C3%A8s-midi)!
