As such, recommendations for U K LeGuin books? I have two books I would like to finish first (may not), and if demand goes up (it will) I won't be able to renew these. So I have to keep it light. I just read the first three Hainish books. They were different. I read Left Hand years ago. Don't recall it well sadly. What about Lathe of Heaven? I'm not bipolar but I feel like the best way to describe my current mood is "manic". Not sure what that means for me.

I had a #flashback to an assembly in kindergarten. We were assembled because they wanted us to stop pennying train tracks. Because we would derail trains and it would be bad and I swear to god I remember a derailed train with X's in its eyes. Why didn't they just tell us that it was dangerous? I was certainly messed up as a kid, but I think that made me want to penny tracks more.

Good morning everybody! I was anxious about something but after I took my anxiety med and clicked the email to deal with it, its not nearly as bad as I thought. It's hard but sometimes try to get your courage up because you never know until you try. <insert inspirational message here>

I didn't enjoy the Iliad when I was in high school, because I found it boring. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had known there was a bunch of speculation on if Achilles and Patroclus were boning. I want to read it again, any recommendations on a version? #classics #books #request

I wonder what #cats think of snow. I assume it's "What is this cold, white stuff and why is it ruining my day?" My dog on the other hand, loves the cold, white stuff.

Oh. There's a blizzard warning. Uni is still in session though. It's sleeting though so I'm not exactly eager to see people remember how winter works. I'll send messages that I'll go to my classes if I feel up to it. I honestly want to go. But I can't do all of them and my last one is a peer review so I suspect I should rest up and prioritize that. *gets in bed with Alanna book*
