@auntiekiki Ok. I don't have plans to take potassium right now, but if I do, I'll remember this.
Dog:*tries to chew slipper*
Me: No! That's naughty, chew this. *hands him a chewie*
#dog: *stares blankly and scorns chewie*
@auntiekiki no potassium. Thank you for telling me!
I brought some vitamins and minerals today in the hopes they'll help my #migraines. I'll start with magnesium and slowly add others. I feel like I should also start tracking my water consumption.
@ink_slinger @allan I almost found the angle of the evangelism cute until you mentioned the language and tone. =/
@josemanuel I think it's just a convenient stereotype. Looking at the page for the other stories, other than the German one which I'm embarrassed to say I can't place, they all seem to be stereotypes of the language/people. Berets! @tjbmurph Wonderful!
@tjbmurph Boop that kitty.
...I've had the word "compañero" memorized as "campañero" for over 3 years. 😱 #languagelearning #español
@alice He happily belched when I took away the empty jar.
...My dog just ate a jar of hummus... 🤦
@alice Don't cheat her by giving her an extra birthday near Christmas. My understanding is those are the worst birthdays for presents.
@Maverynthia Gonna have to preorder it. Thank you!
@Maverynthia !!!!! It got translated???
@alice Well, part of that is good. ¡Aguanta!
@Troim I mean part of the helpful thing is Spanish is Pro-drop. Is Italian?
@Troim I have less than 200 words so far but I'll share when I have more. It's 1st person narrated. The protagonist has no name (lit: sinnombre) but if I do name them later it will be something gender neutral. The only other person named is literally someone named Chris. I'm using a lot of le even when I suspect I'm supposed to use lo/la (tbf I'm a little unsure when to use IO vs DO). I've been choosing adjectives pretty carefully since using Adjx would give the game away, and impersonal se. I
impersonal se. http://drlemon.com/Grammar/impersonal.html
