Here with a #request again. I'm having a bit of trouble in one of my classes. A #Spanish class, but it's a #literature class basically. I'm good at memorizing vocabulary, but I have no idea how to #analyze stories. How does one #read like an #English major? I've tried slowing down, taking notes as I read, summarizing the story as I go. But I usually miss the point of the story by like a mile. I'm trying to start reading the stories multiple times if I have time to, but I want to know if there's other things I can do to help myself.

@alice I wrote a story in my fiction writing class a while back with a character with a "they". The class was furious. Honestly the story needed work but I do not know why they were so angry about a singular pronoun?????
