On one hand, I like not having the responsibility of having a printer (ie: dealing with printer problems). On the other, I have to head to school an hour early to do homework because my prof posted pdfs late afternoon that aren't fill-out-able so I have to print and physically submit. =/

@gannet I actually kinda was. My dog certainly is my beloved buffoon. So oaf seems fitting. Wanna see a graceful oaf now.

@benhamill My brother mentions this happens a lot at work. I guess it's good to see that some things are universal. I think he mentions that sometimes people will also reply all saying not to reply all to say "get off the list". Pleasant days I'm sure.

You know, I hear sometimes/often people are more comfortable expressing different aspects of themselves in #foreignlanguages. so far I'm most comfortable complaining about migraines in Spanish. @c8rz Autie here. I'm usually pretty direct, but I feel the response is understandable, as you are not asking "clearly". I would pick clearer words like "inspect and fix" etc.

I could see reading his response multiple ways.

1. "Yeah, I'm having problems with it, please fix it."
2. "I'm having problems with it, are you sure you want to touch* it right now?"

*touch could be "use", "Fix", etc

Personally, I would assume he's trying to be helpful.

If you do it politely, and possibly gently, asking him straight out for a yes or no answer wouldn't be a problem I think, but I would still try to change how you talk.
