@gannet I'm still pretty bad at sewing. Do you have a recommendation on how to improve at that? I mean, other than practice, I mean I know I need to practice. I mean, learning techniques.

@alice My prom (which I didn't go to, I was a nerd and didn't want to go with anyone) was het-only though IIRC the ACLU managed to get a case about that within like 3 years after I graduated. Maybe if I'd thrown a fit about the principle of the matter like I'd wanted to but didn't because I was a depressed teenager with no drive I could have changed something.
