I sometimes have someone in mind (though it is more about the process) but that's more because I'm so slow at crocheting that projects and gifts are almost a perfect overlap on a Venn Diagram.
@Lapis Nice visual (Venn). I started to #crochet stars this season then chose to make small star lolly bags for the kids chrissy lunch party. that was a fun gift-project.
