And yes, considering humans have the same rights regardless of intelligence, AIs should have those rights when they get even close to human level.

I was thinking more along the lines of making computers smarter isn't a magical solution to humans being expensive.

There's all sorts of ethical implications in this topic I'm sure.

@TheKinrar Maybe it would be useful to add character limit to the stats listed for instances?

Yah, it sounds like a rather meh excuse to me too. But apparently it's something people care about?

Of course, if we had artificial intelligences on par with humans, they should have the same rights as humans or it would be slavery. It'd be equally expensive to employ such an AI as to employ a human.

@caverns I've been thinking, wouldn't it be cool if the bot's avatar next to the toot would be a minimap centered on the current cavern part?

You'd have to make it one large cavern then that you generate new parts of as needed.

@Maverynthia The joystick/controller driver doesn't work equally great for all types though. My PS2 clone often gets sticks and buttons confused.

Analyzed unscaled video, but applied on scaled video. It's rare for videos to need both cropping and scaling, and for the error to be visible still after additional scaling though.

Still, to not have realized that sooner.. >_<

What rules is Mastodon using to highlight hashtags in toots?

Normally the "#" and the tag name are both highlighted, but I'm seeing some toots that have only the tag name highlighted and not the "#", and even one where there was a "!" (unhighlighted) instead of a "#".

Examples:

https://social.freedombone.net/notice/227053 ← "!" instead of "#"

Hmm, both are non-Mastodon instances. Maybe Mastodon isn't highlighting anything and just copies the links it's given?

I have a question.
I just noticed that one of the remote accounts I'm following tooted 4 hours ago, but the toot hadn't shown up on my home tl nor on the local account lookup. I looked up the toot manually by its url and then it appeared on my home tl (and on the account lookup after I refreshed that).
Does this happen normally, or is there some federation problem between witches.town and precure.ml?
