@Yuhllevan A few weeks ago I tried to come out as nonbinary to my parents. I have been pondering this for some time, but I can not put up with the misnaming and misgendering any more when I am on a visit. However, I think they do not really get it yet. For my father the hardest thing seems to be that I changed my name. His reaction was kind of ... stubborn. I'm quietly optimistic, they are not aggressive conservatives or something, it's just a completely new concept for them.
My sister was no problem. She knows - she has, in fact, known for some time - and she's cool.
