A trans friend said she'd just had a lesbian group pop up on FB. She read the blurb about it and saw nothing in there about trans inclusion, so has to assume it's TERFy.
Cis people, we must make sure our gay/bi/queer/"LGBT" stuff is really explicit about trans inclusivity these days.
We might think it'd be nice not to make a big deal of it because trans women are women and etc. But we must remember that trans folk have to assume our groups aren't safe for them if we don't make it clear.

So, "squirrel" is a very hard word for non-native English speakers to say.
In German, the word for squirrel is "Eichhornchen," which is hilarious to hear non-native German speakers attempt to say.
I wonder if there's some global squirrel conspiracy to ensure their name in every language is ridiculously hard for foreigners to say.
A black cat crossing your path is bad luck unless you immediately compliment them, upon which they will bless you. Acceptable compliments include gasping like you've just seen a celebrity, head rubs, verbal affirmations of how handsome the cat is etc etc
I have 30-40 baby #guppies in my aquarium. This is clearly too much.

I studied urban planning in San Francisco, and I just gotta say, the answer to our urban transportation problems is not self driving cars or 'ridesharing' taxis, all of those things are the way that established tech cos attempts to replace and commodify public services. The real answer is less car traffic, more (and more accessible) busses and trains, and shared public transport priority streets with bike and ped priority streets too. And affordable tickets + paid operators of vehicles.
