So, this can be a bit of a hard read in some ways.

But, Some of the people that made me almost give up when I was struggling with the realization I was trans? And trying to navigate that space was... actually trans folks in various online communities that I found while searching for answers.

My Cis Therapist, Psych, and GP were some of my support actually encouraging me to explore and transition.

And I don't mean the tiny handful of trans friends /1

You know, I've met some lovely people as a slowly get back into the dating scene, but I can't help but remember that over half of the white women that express some interest voted for Trump.

Kinda of downer.

There will be a time, soon, in a few years I hope, when people start to really *get* that someone's gender isn't about what toys you let a kid play with. Barbies won't turn a boy gay, or turn him into a girl, and the only way you can know someone's gender for sure is to ask.

speaking of trans, i keep the radio on for background noise and I just so happened to pay attention while I was getting more firewood, and I came to listen to an interview with a soft-spoken trans man speaking about the awful trans healthcare in sweden, about expectations of masculinity, norms, our bodies & the interviewer was very respectful too, which is rare in my eyes.

the things he said felt like listening to myself. it's nice to feel that we actually -exist- out here.
