Dating, White Women Afficher plus
There will be a time, soon, in a few years I hope, when people start to really *get* that someone's gender isn't about what toys you let a kid play with. Barbies won't turn a boy gay, or turn him into a girl, and the only way you can know someone's gender for sure is to ask.
@maunzikation same!
Hey #Yarnuary people! The hashtag poll has produced a result that’s been consistent for days and days: #fiberarts
So, go forth and tag your #fiberarts accordingly come February, plus any other tags that might be appropriate, like #needlefelting or #knitting or #sprang or, you know, whatever it is you’re doing.
Do people want me to come up with general optional monthly themes? Because I can continue to do that somewhat indefinitely if people would like (I might recycle them eventually).
@kikir awww, danke!
due to a cold and my messy planning, i didn't have much #spinning time in January until now.
now I'm in skiing holidays with my family. but today there was too much #snow for #skiing.
so I finally had the chance to do some #handspinning again! love!

@ginnungagap awww, how nice!!
speaking of trans, i keep the radio on for background noise and I just so happened to pay attention while I was getting more firewood, and I came to listen to an interview with a soft-spoken trans man speaking about the awful trans healthcare in sweden, about expectations of masculinity, norms, our bodies & the interviewer was very respectful too, which is rare in my eyes.
the things he said felt like listening to myself. it's nice to feel that we actually -exist- out here.
Here's a poll for people who want to continue #yarnuary indefinitely:
http://www.strawpoll.me/14872994
Let's pick a hashtag that won't keep changing!
I have some other questions about themes/challenges, but they can wait until another day.
Please boost if you know people who do fiber arts on Mastodon who might not have been doing #yarnuary.
