@Salomao I had been wondering similar. Me and my partner saw the trailers and basically thought "that game looks amazing, hooray for Platinum and their ability to make great mechanics. However, all the creepyest side of male gaze, so not playing."

Other games news happened, I haven't looked into it since, and seeing all the uncritical hype on here, I idly wondered if they'd recut it or something to. Not enough to go check.

I'm interested to hear why people aren't as cross with it as I was expecting. I got the impression the exploitation in it was pretty earnest, so it doesn't even seem to have the "cheesecake" defence

Catman is playing PvP in the Caterina set. Every now and again when he loses the opponent will do the "toast" emote, which leads to the two of us doing it IRL back.

I love what these games have bought to my life ^_^.

Today I are mostly poorly, but I'm more mobile than the Catman, so walked into town to do some shopping. Feel rough, but accomplished what I set out to do, so cool.

@cassolotl Oooh, interesting! I think my #Welsh use is a bit my way of saying "I'm here". And maybe a bit that as I speak Welsh because my English parents settled there, I have a responsibility to use it and make people aware that it still exists as a living, nourishing language.

Thanks! I realised I don't mind if Mastonauts understand what I'm saying or not, I'm just enjoying taking part and being here. Therefore if I want to speak Welsh, something I miss from my day to day life, why not?
