Many of those folks will be habituated to doing the social inclusion version of "making your own fun", and making the best of brief instances of non-toxic environments.
Also, the overlap of the groups you've identified is huge.
Also also, much trad social media requires/encourages using your legit name. Many of those folx for various reasons don't want to.
@DivineOmega I am queer, trans*, mentally ill, autistic and have some history in activism. I don't code but I like to cuddle those who do. I haven't used any social media for years, and am fairly asocial IRL.
I'm enjoying here because I can just hang out and play with interaction. I don't have to perform anything I don't enjoy performing, and instead of the "its the internet, of course I can be a dick to you" attitudes, I'm finding people behaving like people. Is nice
