Sitting in the shade of the nice weather and thinking about an #iChing reading I got yesterday; mountain over water changing to tree/wind on a mountain. The first hexagram is about all teachers having been pupils somewhere along the line, and about the nature of teaching. The changing lines cover much, but convert to a hexagram about gradual progress.

I had asked it about my writing, and my progress in life in general, and the changing line I was told as dominant, talks about idolatry.

I just looked up the etymology, but it didn't reveal more than what I realized today. I've been idolizing all sorts of my fears, as if they might consume me.

I was recently inspired, in a way I can't remember, to see if a pentagram might inspire me in my Practice; I wasn't sure how I might be inspired to be a witch by the five-pointed star, but this is what came to me:

Possession
Ignition
And sumption (with possibly inspired prefixes like con-, as-, or none at all)

So anyways, it's breakfast, and while grilled, was making me think about physical fitness. That "I"can't grow unless my body grows.

Last night,I realized that every scary-sexy thing my hero thinks of has to be what is indulged in. Everything, personal and understood as a direct calling to her. That there is an unmistakable physical context about more than the words.

Like, talking with your hands could work, too. Learning ASL even as one way to communicate the word physically instead of verbally. These hand movements can be eerily intimate or express another environment's language, which might not need words.

I just wrote for about an hour about three different and related topics. But I didn't get to my story notes.

I'm facing a lot of struggling in the past day. I'm getting this sinking feeling that we're in a dead-end, with no escape. Like discrimination, capitalism, and poverty will ensure that the life we want to enjoy with some security, might actually be stuffed with separation and wage slavery.

I really believed I could make a large income from erotica and writing, but the pace I have now is so glacial that I don't feel I'll ever get back on the horse. I've had a small stint last week, but I'm so unbelievably mired that I'm struggling to feel safe.

This is the difference between telling someone a half-truth instead of the whole truth, or more.

The whole truth is unequivocally speaking, clearly & frankly.
But there are also half truths, & maybe?, serendipitously UNDERSTOOD triple+? truths.

A half truth is a double truth, as a masquerade for the only truth: that it's not a lie. The speech allows the observer to mis triangulate the vector of intent. They could worm their way through being responsible for your understanding of anything they say, but only by using your validation of their victimization

I realized (& gotta write) that there is a way a person unequivocally talks. So many statements in our language that people have intended coded meanings, but others speak in ways that unequivocally leave such codes out by being frank & clear, & maybe those unequivocal speakers even moderate the conversation's boundaries.

Essentially, an abuser would make you disconnect the text from the subtext by providing a false flag, making you read a different subtext. But taking advantage of you misinterpreting their targeted blatherings.
