Wow, I really do think my meditation is helping--not only did I stop when I wished to beforehand, I managed the whole 27 minutes with better and better focus. I think I'm still tired and my thoughts ran away from me here and there into daydream, but the level of calm I had is completely new.
Now to tackle the lingering tasks for tonight.

You don't need to DO good to BE good. Whatever you're going through is real, it is okay to struggle, it is okay to not be strong right this moment. For now, focus on staying safe. You deserve that safety.
