@grime_witch I was thinking about what "putting someone in check" really means; I imagine someone forcing you, like blackmail or violence threats, and you NEEDING to move. But other other half of this is only needing you to move until they don't need you anymore, and any move you make will benefit the aggressor.
Here, in this discussion/argument you have, I get the air someone has cornered you, and any move you make simply means you've lost.
What could be said to turn the chess tables on this kind of judge and jury of arguments? Hmm.. "No, stalemate since I'm about to make a move you don't recognize or consider" ?
