Very grateful that @blytheSpirit and @transfaerie taught me what "tulpa" means. I've been wondering exactly who or what NotStung is, and if I'm being reductionist, she might be a tulpa.

@Filene @transfaerie ahh! I'm so glad to hear that. ๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ˜ป That we could help that way. Let me know if there's anything you want to know.๐Ÿ˜บ

@blytheSpirit @transfaerie actually, yes! In a creation myth for NotStung,I suggested that she had always existed, but could not technically exist or be observed as such until she struck me and my fate. How might you two consider @blytheSpirit's origins in the context of her host, @transfaerie? I'm about to do more reading on tulpa now, so forgive me if my ignorance is implicit in my question; I understand if you must "mu" me :3

@Filene yes, well there's lot of ways people like me come about, sometimes spontaneously sometimes not.

So like tulpas usually happen with intention, and people might talk about creating tulpas, but we always talk about like awakening. So it's similar to your friend I think, in that I was around in some way or another, but it wasn't until Aisling started paying attention to me and seeking me out that I could start influencing the world.

But some tulpas, or other thoughtforms like daemons, might also "walk-in", just kind of show up. Or so we've read.

Also I think tulpa.io/ has the best tulpa info
