as i get used to mastodon's character limit it starts to feel more like i've been living under a low ceiling and fricking up my spine my entire life. i'm NEVER going to hit 512 chars in the course of an ordinary run-on sentence. how much was i compromising my natural cadence and expression to compress my thoughts for twitter?
@q_lum I hit the limit of 500 or 666 characters sometimes (the limit depends on the instance), but it's because I'm writing a paragraph or two.
It's true that it's better than Twitter in that aspect, as you can expose and explain better your thoughts.
