@shel yesssssss
@shel i should say i did not fact-check myself on when the wii came out
@shel ah, yes, prior thereto everyone relished working 11-12 hour days, because they hated their home. it is only with the invention of the wii that 'home' become something desirable
not that i take the love of my beautiful and sickly son Maze for granted, just that he's always followed me around, and Tennessee has historically liked to keep his distance.
every time my fat and beautiful son Tennessee hops up on some furniture next to me i feel so honored, so accepted
@shel my favorite part is the idea that pre-millenial workers did not value 'balance' between work and home
god, i /want/ to be doing my homework, but m'brain is still like buzzing uselessly
@silby also it's like the natural associate of the patter song
@silby certainly g& sullivan have several
of course they say it's a 'public service announcement.... with guitars'
it's like a list with a little editorializing (you have the right to free speech..... as long as you're not dumb enough to actually try it)
the clash's know your rights is kind of a list song
@silby or at least the ways in which one feels like a woman, depending on how one defines feeling/being in relationship
@silby good.
@silby if a plot is a list of things that happened
@silby i think a plot can be a list
@silby interesting
@silby hmmmm i was hoping for songs that aren't Novelty Songs
