@FStewartT the Dan Bern song “Thanksgiving Day Parade” is a lot of verses approximately listing Thanksgiving Day Parade participants, sort of. One verse more specifically lists the players of various instruments in the marching band.

@FStewartT obviously the folk repertoire likely contains a jillion examples, cf. counting songs, riddle songs. The Passover song “Chad Gadya” is a shtetl version of “there was an old lady who swallowed a fly”, both lists.
