@FStewartT you’re right on both counts of course. My quip here is sort of aimed at how rapid the process of semantic collapse is whenever someone tries to mean something specific, leaving us unable to mean things, except occultly, or something.
@silby probably 'meaning' is 'intrinsically' occult insofar as meaning and intrinsic can be claimed to mean anything, but i don't see why it's a problem.
