I'm like /really/ stuck on Lampion, the gay sidekick from that french agatha christie series, and i hope to god it's not because i 'identify' with him

there's obvious similarities- we're both whiney, effortful but not that competent, and have bad aim- but i don't think- or hope- it's about that

he does have some commonalities with my Number One Favorite Cinematic Character of All Time, jerome pradon as judas- Parisian, desperately gay, balding a little, works real hard but his more naturally gifted boss gets the credit and the babes

but do i 'identify' with JP's judas except through my aspiration to wear extremely sick leather jackets all the time? who knows.
