I was waiting for the bus and there was a girl across from me and we were ignoring each other. Then a guy came up and started asking her to "star in a porn" so I went up and started talking over him (to her) about conference stuff until he left. Turns out she's giving the talk right before mine tomorrow. #serendipity

I feel like maybe quibbling over semantics is a bad look for a parent of a child dealing with gender stuff?
