If I can convey one big message to under 18s on Mastodon it would be to think before you post. Pause before everything and think about if this could be giving too much information about your life; such that someone could track down your irl identity. Think about how being under 18 affects the legality of hosting and looking at what you're about to post. Think about what the worst thing it that someone could do with what you're about to say and decide whether the risk outweight the reward

I had that thought, 'we attract the weirdos', but we all have that thought, don't we? we all tend to think we personally and specifically have these experiences despite the overwhelming evidence that this happens to everyone every day, these are not 'weirdos' but a huge portion of our own society we're trained to ignore & downplay like this.(I say 'we' not rly meaning masto)

This is a difficult favor to ask. We all know that sexuality doesn't just turn on on your 18th birthday, but the laws aren't always so sensitive. It would be really awful if m.s had to shut down because we were hosting publicly-visible sexual content from posters 17 and younger.

I was gonna write something about how Dialectical Materialism being a science allows me to be a communist, even a ML, witch without qualms, but then I got lazy.
Anyways, if someone tells you you can't be religious, spiritual, or witchy and be a marxist leninist, tell them to self-crit or quit.
For someone who's already a communist, spirituality is, at worst, a harmless distraction and at best a powerful tool for revolution.
