Duolingo has Japanese now! π―π΅
@KitRedgrave I haven't looked at it tbh. I wonder if they even try to teach writing. I don't think other Duolingo languages have non roman scripts?

@Eve Oh, apparently it comes out *tomorrow*, but it's showing like 67% ready. So no Japanese quite yet.
@KitRedgrave my phone has it actually! i opened it up and it is already teaching hiragana ....

@Eve maybe it got to be past midnight where you live (i don't know where that is), and they're gating it on your phone by local time

@Eve @KitRedgrave I think it's out for iOS but not android or web yet due to needing some new client features. The update must not have landed just yet for the other platforms.

@nergdron I just saw it on my phone and it seemed to work there. maybe not released yet? people here are talking about it though. someone said it's maybe only for iOS so far ...
