First effect of using Masto a lot for the past days: my Twitter timeline seems some overwhelming now. I feel like I won't be able to read half of it now. Idk how I feel about that tho.

I guess I prefer to discharge .social (even a tiny bit) and experience delays sometimes. Plus witches.town will never stop being a rad domain name so there's that.

@hayden I hope contributors/devs find a way to implement account migrations at some point so ppl can spread around in an easier manner in the future.

@hayden Yeah I figured out when I saw toots from other instances being instantly loaded. I guess that's part of the game.

At least this re-inforce the whole space metaphor where messages take time to arrive to you because of the speed of light. I'll think about that whenever I experience delays I guess :p

But since I don't have that said delay on toots coming from anywhere else but mastodon.social I'd guess .social is having some delays D:

Yep there's definitely a ~30mn delay on toots coming from mastodon.social when being on another instance. Idk if it was always a thing or what since I've never been elsewhere than .social before.

Hum, it seems like I'm seeing a delay between seeing a given toot from m.social and from here 🤔 This doesn't help my inner debate about where I should have my main account.

@objelisks I'm not knowledgable enough on Witches™ but I feel like we'd need @Alda 's approval first b/c a bot like that could be harmful to an instance b/c of the media sizes I guess

Even though I get that bots that auto-post medias are likely to be instance admins' nightmare 😅

I wonder if someone can do a cool@witches.town account that would just post pictures of cool witches in fictions. That'd be rad.
