We lost a member of the community (Natalie Nguyen) to suicide earlier this month, and today is her funeral. Lots of people are raw and thinking about death and the transphobia and racism and other shit that Natalie faced and many people here do, too. Lots of people are also at their absolute best offering care and love.

But there's room for you, too. Plenty of people didn't know her, and that's okay. You're welcome here. I just thought people might be confused and want to know.

dear able/NT ppl who say 'they'd be no disabled people in scifi because we'd be able to cure people'

Think about the ways the nazis and eugenicists want to get rid of us and how they wanna do it.

What you are saying to us is 'we got rid of you' not 'we helped you'

Put disabled characters in your scifi, create cool hover wheelchairs and holopic communication for the non verbal

But don't make us not exist

some things that CWs love to tag: words or images that contain politics, violence, religion, lewd stuff, weapons, food, mental and physical health, weight loss/body size talk, storms, drugs, bigory, and hilarious (or not hilarious) jokes.
