so I think I figured out why I'm struggling so much playing a bard, my character highest stat is charisma ('cuz it's what the book said was good) but I don't know how to act/pretend that *I* have that much charisma...
nor do I have the focus to pay attention during npc conversations long enough to know what's going on...
maybe I should have made my bard a dragonborn instead of half-elf so she's physically tougher and less charismatic

I secretly hope my half-elf bard dies or we switch back to a campaign that I can use my Dragonborn barbarian character ThunderFist
I'm a simple lady who likes pretending to be a 6ft dragon-lady that smashes down doors and breathes lightning
