@DensetsuNoGomez If you like challenging games and/or good-ass music, yeah, I'd say it's worth it!
I think the standard recommendation is to start with Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. No shenanigan systems, just danmaku.
@Dauntless That's part of the thing though: I don't really like danmaku games but they have that weird allure that like, KoF has where its a more-obscure-franchise-with-a-super-complex-storyline-that's-kinda-told-through-the-gameplay-but-also-not-REALLYreally.
Maybe I should just watch lets plays and read wikis...
@DensetsuNoGomez In that case? Yeah, go for the wiki and shuffle through the soundtracks. The universe is developed way more in the side material than in anything the games touch on. (Especially the early ones, before there was quite as high a standard for translation.)
