So, as a teen, my friend and I would go into the city once a week because there was like a free, all ages festival during the summer. Cool cool.

One day, we saw "Free Pizza Ages 18 and under" written in chalk on the sidewalk.

I'm a teenager. I'm going to get the free pizza. She's game, I'm game, we have the buddy system, let's do this.

We follow the chalk arrows to this meeting hall. There are plenty of other youths gathering. Totally not sketchy!!

Some college-aged dude is at the entrance. Says the food is inside. Cool cool.

I see the boxes and boxes and boxes of pizza on a table. Sweet! I grab a plate, and look behind me. Where's my friend? She saw a pretty girl.

That's cool, I got my pizza. I'll go walk around a bit.

I see the college-aged dude walking towards the door with chains.

"Annie, we should get going. Here I got you a slice. Did you get her number?"

She didn't hear a damn word because she's all 😍

I go to the door. "Whatcha doin with the chains, buddy....?"

He said that nobody gets to leave until they finish the "skit"

I go back to grab Annie. Still goofing over the girl, who mentions that she's part of this organization.

Of course she is.

"Annie it's time to go. Now."

I drag her to the doors and voila, there are chains and padlocks. This isn't legal.

Annie doesn't care because she has free pizza and she talked to a pretty girl. I fucken swear.
