I love how I chose my personal name out of a Slavic take on a gnostic term

But just going about using my name as I do, I notice v masculine-performative folk anglisize my name because a 'ny' is too foreign

And some people who see me as super innocent (lol) tend to actually use the original gnostic term and I cba to correct them

As well I've always juggled like two or three names among the folks I know because performing, etc etc

It's all p wild, to me

Look at points of history where queerness thrived

Sea cultures, nomadic and horse cultures, monastic and ritualistic cultures, cultures on the grey fringes and insurrectionary cultures

Times where people had more choice in where they lived, who they were, and what place they had in the world or how to fill the gaps that the historic trend of state building leaves behind

They had a purpose, it was emergent on that whirlwind of complexity

I dumped my Twitter (of like 20k followers/was something they was the main public face to my work) for my mental health considering the struggle I was in at the time

And it was beneficial to that extent, now I'm more isolated and feeling my own mechanations of imposter syndrome than ever

It's a weird yes and no answer, to me

Communities, I'm not an individualist who thinks Human critters are like bull sharks out in the ocean all by their lonesome

But infrastructures can be made to decentralize things enough to give each individual full automous power, politically

Because that is what minimal hierarchy would look like.

In nature, homosexuality persists in natural selection because as communities of mutual aid genetic code can still be passed on as long as the community is large enough that the burden of childrearing can be delegated to the greater community

When critters are able to have complex enough systems, emergent features spring out like black box equations linking all the other systems and making further complexities from there. Culture is an emergent feature of teaching us meaning to those black boxes

I also view capitalism as an emergent feature of human behavior, specifically of control through hierarchical systems

I think if dual power systems with minimal hierachy were able to be widespread enough even without severe collapse, new emergent features unforseen would result

Likely for the best if the commons were decomodified and people had maximal autonomy

As goofy as it may be, I kinda like Posadas for the general thinking that world socialism can be built out of the ruins of nuclear war.

Which ties into Durutti saying "We are not in the least afraid of ruins. We are going to inherit the earth; there is not the slightest doubt about that."

We may be coming into and era of unprecedented damage and decline, particularly with the environment, but something along the line of LibSoc society will be the most resilient to that

I was p alienated by leftism and anarchism when I first transitioned and was living at a punk house, because I am a sex worker and that kept me from having a full understanding sooner I feel

I was a red as a kid

I remember weirding out my teachers by doing reports on Ché rather than Mandela

But it was still not until I was 20 and actually experienced prolonged houselessness, exploitation, and struggle did I actually have a real understanding

In the time between I just flip flopped without any real conviction, what turned me hella left was a kid was Bush II and the cultural zeitgeist
