I like games and interactive fiction a lot because it doesn't directly exploit real people to be created. But even these types of products aren't safe from exploitative content. A lot of problematic games saturate and normalize that type of content. Even under socialism, erotica is one thing that will always have inherent room for exploitation of people.

Solution

Provide a way for everyone to have acsess to the commons

Exploitative bosses happen, but they can only be so exploitative if as a community folks are able to ensure folks who are likely to be effected survival is met

Hell this is possible now as an internet community in regards to cam girls

But like anything theres a ton complicating it, the only ways folks can get paid without some payment processer getting a cut is escorting for one

@CursedConfetti This is kind of reminding me of mutualist organization. A case in which people could collectivize means of production but still work in a market/money capacity. While I don't idealize this methodology i think it's more likely to be used and seemingly more viable from within capitalism than other ways to collectivize or free the exploitation of people in the sex industry. Sorry if I'm not making sense or very on topic, im high and i might not effectively convey my thoughts properly.

Like a lot of opression, its maintained often by playing marginal lives off of eachother. If you can find any rest and comfortable position its way too easy to go all king of the hill mode

Its organization and how that leaves me at a loss

I definitely feel like there is huge revolutionary potential in sex work in the era of the internet, particularly in the realm of figuring out what mutual aid networks work best

And that its a matter of infrastructure to give that needed momentum (a healthy online dialog, space to air grievances that isnt in an argumentive 4chon/reddit/twitter style, judgement free space for people to communicate their needs, non exploitative payment systems,)
