I really like making grits by melting cream cheese and butter, and adding some half and half and coffee to boil off instead of just water

Then cracking in some eggs, cheese, grease, or hot sauce as it needs more fluid to take in

@CursedConfetti I'm not sure I've ever actually *had* grits, but that sounds good nonetheless. I imagine the coffee gives it a cool flavor.
