Yaaaaa, I didnt rlly find Jung too approachable until I was able to go at it to a community College library

Tbh learning about the collective unconscious was one of the one things that encouraged me to transition

I don't know enough about the collective unconscious. How did it help you to learn about it? Fascinating!

I find the concept of shadow people soooo facinating as a kid who took too much DPH as a foolhardy high schooler

@CursedConfetti How foolhardy of you! haha I love the concept of shadows too but I only know about the socionics shadow theory. The one that's like when we're unhealthy, we retreat into our shadow personality which can be the opposite of who we really are. Interesting stuff...

@CursedConfetti That is so fucking fascinating I read the whole thing. There's neuroscience to back it up. I think myths in cultures around the world have a psychological component. Like great myths like the great flood from the Bible.

@CursedConfetti Jung was such a genius. A lot of this is still over my head but I'm really interested in it. I think I read somewhere that he just figured out all these ideas based on hours and hours of patients in therapy sessions with him. He started to see human patterns.
