Random #tokipona question of the night:

the word "seme" covers what/which type questions. How do you phrase a why question?

Closest I've come up with so far is "nasin seme" or "what path/way".

Seems reasonable, but I'm prone to waxing philisophical. Anyone know of a more direct way to ask?

@RussSharek
I like reduplication for topic setting questions
Seme nasin
? Path/method/logic
Hmmm..
Seme pali...
? Action
Seme ni jaki mije e sina suwi pali seme?
Why were you sweet to that gross man?
Seme ni ___ona ken seme?
Why can they (get away with) doing that?
Seme ni __ ona nawen seme?
Why are they (continuing to) do that?
Seme ni ___ ona kama seme?
Why did that happen?
Seme ona sona seme?
Why do they know?

Etc
You can utilize most verbs that way
