I hope I never forget the first time someone on Mastodon sent me a message apologizing.

They felt bad about mis-gendering me despite the fact I've never indicated my gender identity here.

That was far and away the best compliment I've received online.

I *intentionally* am androgynous here. No apology necessary.

I promise.
