@kara_dreamer I loved it! It was a huge improvement over the kind of dry formula they did with ichigou and co for the first and the next movies, probably because it could spread out its story into episodes and it had that AMAZON.COM money. The filming was excellent and the choice to use blackish blood was perfect, gave good still visceral gore scenes without looking cheesy imo! still need to watch season two tbh!

@Caramelqp Yeah, I was deeply impressed and that kinda took me by surprise; I went into Amazons thinking that it was gonna be mediocre and mostly about shock value and killing off minor characters. By making the extermination team the real focus of the show and going into how these people all look out for each other, they made a show I couldn't stop watching even though I've a somewhat low tolerance for gore.

@kara_dreamer my main changes i would do legit is adding less overall gore but better like, monster destruction, instead of them just melting most of the time, and also, give them an extra sound designer so that they dont reuse that one theramin song, its hella good tho! It kinda influenced how a lot of the summer movies feel, like especially doctor pacman.

@kara_dreamer wizard the show is pretty great, and it definatelly needs to be finished to be like imo bc alot of it is, the mcs are kinda jerks but their powers are cool and their side charas are good. Shunpei is a girl and also didnt deserve anything that happened to her

@kara_dreamer technically, shunpei was supposed to be a boy character but, i like having trans headcannons with rider bc of how they bap women to the side. Shunpei was a really compelling character and basically the second coming of kagami from kabuto and i hold to my grave should have been the side rider or at least A side rider but was relagated to comic relief jokester after imo one of the meanest monster attacks in the whole show. The side rider we get is okay, and has a radical concept for a rider, in that he has to keep feeding baddies to his belt or his belt will kill him, but he says no homo alot (tho....he is really gay for his best pal)

@kara_dreamer like no joke, kamen rider and sentai, specifically kr decade and gokaiger kept me alive when i wanted to die, so like, its my main squeeze in terms of media that makes me feel good! so i try my best to be enthused about it and help others see why i think its radical

Was a Power Rangers fan from Day 1.
Got into Super Sentai in 2005 with Magiranger. Kamen Rider in 2007 with Den-O.
These shows have got me through a lot.

@Caramelqp aw :) indeed toku has the power to make my smile almost no matter how badly I'm feeling. also we've drawn some symbols from it that we've used to define our identities. my familiar @kel adopted the motto "I'm gonna be friends with everyone in this multiverse" because of Fourze, for example xD

@maritroniuity @kara_dreamer If i had wrote it, haruto would die after wizard episode four (but have all the powerups) and the rest of the series would be shunpei learning magic and trying her best to live up to harutos image and figuring our her mentor was kind of a jerk, while becoming a wizard worth notice and saving the world
