@sleepymachine It's an interesting article, but what does that make of a person ? Are we only supposed to have our true sense of selves with others ?
Sometimes I wonder if my deep need for social contact and to never be alone is only for me to stay something.
When I'm with someone else, it's really easy to pick a mask that they expect to see and pretend to be anything they want. To the point where I don't even need to think about it.
But when I'm all alone, I have no clear idea of who I am. I don't even know what pronouns to use half the time. When I look at myself in the mirror, I can't tell if that face is really supposed to be mine or not.
I wish that eventually I'll have a stable identity
