I jokingly kinda wanna ask ya'll what winter is like since it doesn't EXIST here in Georgia. Or at least at this edge of it. We only get snow every decade or so.
@witchfynder_finder @BadWrongFun It depends what flavour of winter you get and who you are as a person. in Vancouver it's mostly Wet and Dark and as someone who hates the sun but is also part plant i love it. Like im basically a mushroom this is ideal.
We get snow sometimes and it's sometimes fun but mostly it's too wet and then it's Slush which is terrible.
@BadWrongFun cold that hurts to breathe in. itchy skin constantly from the dry air. chapped lips. wearing so many layers outside that you are almost instantly sweltering when you walk into any heated building. leaving a cup in your car to find the contents a solid block of ice the next day. snow that is fun and exciting for about twenty minutes before you realize you'll have to shovel it, and it's going to turn into slush and ice before you do anything cool with it.
@BadWrongFun Depends on how north you are. Here at 62°N it's just dark as morso's ass until February, which is the hardest part.
Snow may be an annoyance, but sleet is much much worse. Generally dry and cold weather is manageable, moist and cold is like hell frozen over.
I wish I didn't live in this winterland.
