I travel to the countryside often to visit friends. There was this transient camp along one of the freeway on-ramps. It was huge and I would guess at least fifty people lived there in the tents.
Yesterday, as my bus went pass the camp, it was all gone. There were police walking around and construction vehicles where the camp once stood.
I wonder what happened. Did they all get evicted by the police for some developer? Or were they just considered unsightly and forcibly removed? Either one is bad, but I wonder...
