Hey, so I think I managed to optimize Agora so it should run pretty okay now. Low power computers will likely still have some trouble, but the rest should handle it okay. And it runs a LOT better in chrome or chomium then it does in firefox. Take a look and tell me how it works for you? XD

Huh, here's something y'all might appreciate. It's a web serial about a communist country fighting alt-WWII. Low fantasy, with a diverse cast, including many LGBT individuals. Morality is pretty grey/grey, but moderately favoring the communists. I've been quite enjoying it.

Article on how the '90s culture-jamming idea, strong on the early internet, was itself sorta culture-jammed, leaving it unclear what a progressive way out might be.
Good article regardless, but especially works for me it b/c it's framed around a personal narrative of someone born in 1982 who grew up in a midwest suburb. (Though I was born in '81, and grew up in an Indiana suburb—not Ohio, thank god.)
"we'll burn that bridge when we get to it" is still my absolute favorite corrupted idiom
which apparently has a name but I like "corrupted idiom" better
