Hmm. So I've heard that one of the ways China censors the Internet is by making it so that select comments and the like will show up for the people who posted them, but not for anyone else, effectively leaving people feeling like they're screaming into the void. How easy is it to detect that kind of thing? If someone (Say, china or the CIA or whoever) were doing that on Mastodon, would we be able to tell? :/
