Aaargh. I keep ending up screwing around with data management, copying and the like, and I can;t help feeling I'm missing something obvious. Anyone know any good patterns or advice or whatever, for avoiding that kind of mess? :/

So I need a day job. I'm going to start by putting in some applications at libraries and book stores. Any advice on things to try and fit into my resume and cover letter? I've never done a cover letter before, so. :X

Something I've been thinking about for a while now, is that we're not smart enough to solve our problems, either individually, or especially, collectively. Not as we are. Thats why we should invest our efforts into being smarter - that is to say, being better able to understand our situation and solve problems, both individually, and especially collectively. That's what I aim for with my Agora project. A better way to communicate and discuss problems together. So that we can solve those problems that seem so intractable today. :/

And there are sorts of freaky aliens, and someone's handing out magic apples, and I think at the ed he accepts an Apple? And he meets some other people who went through before him, and they're really happy to have a chance to eat bread again cause there's no bread here. sci-fi, novel, pretty old? :/

Like, have you noticed how many of the posts on the fediverse are about combatting this Anxiety? "YOU CAN DO IT", "YOU ARE VALID", "I BELIEVE IN YOU"... It goes on and on. Imagine if the dominant Paradigm didn't enforce that anxiety? Wouldn't that be nice. :/
