Hmm. So lately I've been trying to... Cultivate benevolence, or inner peace, or whatever? I know it sounds cliche, and it kinda is, but I've been working on this for a while, and I think it really helps. The idea being to... come to peace and understanding with yourself, and with the universe, and all that? It's really complicated. But anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this kind of thing, of any questions, or whatever. XD

Just refactored some of my code to do the same thing, but way more sensibly, and with a fraction the code. It hurts, but it's so good... XD

@Angle back before I realized I was trans, I should say. XD

Bacl before I was trans, I used to have a fascination with bodily transformation, and a sort of yearning for it. It would play a part in my fantasies a lot. Which, now that I've raised I'm trans, makes a lot of sense. Anyone else have experiences like this? :/

@DenubisX Noice. ANy recommendations on IDEs? I'm using netbeans right now, but the only plug in for Clojure is out of date. :/

@natecull @pnathan Huh, gotcha. Doesn't it have various techniques for combining things in interesting ways and the like? I'm thinking of Eurisko. :/

@natecull @pnathan Hmm. Any examples of GOFAI being used for stuff? It sounds interesting. And it'd be interesting to combine the two approaches - maybe a GOFAI core that uses neural net modules? :/

Though on the other hand, I'd be wary about doing anything too useful with A.I., as I don't think our civilization is very well prepared to handle it. :/

@LottieVixen @mallaidh Hmm. It might just be that you have a weird reaction to that drug - it's fairly common for reactions to vary. There are some people who have stimulants put them to sleep, for example. :/

@LottieVixen @SilviaFox @mallaidh Yeah I do the same thing. There are various things I've found which can help - music, exercise, making food sometimes, seeing people, etc. I still go through relatively frequent crashes though. :/
