I'm running a Hubzilla instance (pretty much functionally equivalent to Facebleck, but federated) and am having trouble getting people to use it.
Suggestions and assistance invited.
@woozle @LottieVixen You problem is mostly the network effect. I dunno how mastodon beat that, but for any facebook-like it's totally killer. Theres no point to using it if you're freinds and family aren't using it. :/
I guess I keep expecting people to be metarational and realize that the only way to get their F&Fs to a new platform is to start using it themselves and hope to create momentum. :-/
