So my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S6) has completely locked - doesn't even listen to power button and audio buffer is on loop, emitting horrible screaming noise. What do? :/
@LottieVixen How? The case doesn't open. :/
@Angle fuck these one piece phones....
@LottieVixen It's cool, the day is saved. XD
@Angle @LottieVixen what about long pressing to on/off plus sound down...
@Angle have you tryed power burton + volumedown for a minute ?
@kyzh just did. That worked. XD
@Angle holding down power button doesn't do anything? (30 seconds or so?)
@Angle If the system doesn't take over at that point, I'd put it in somewhere far away and let the battery die. And then find a young priest and an old priest.
@Angle (I... developing android apps has given me a very... specific... appreciation... for samsungs.)
@DenubisX I used the "hold down power and volume down buttons", and that worked. XD
@Angle (though power-down + power *should* be screenshot. Holding down power should be hard-off. But samsung)
@MightyPork @Angle Ah, that's *on power on*. Yes, power-volume down on power *on* goes to recovery bootloader. Because consistency.
@Angle oh god, take out the battery?
