...You know what's especially annoying about the high cost of healthcare? How Crap most of it is. Like, everyone you go to a different doctor, you have to get a fresh set of the same tests done. They can't just the data from the other doctor a month ago. I know there are some good reasons for this, but I can't help but feel like the system could he massively improved... :/
@Angle Like, a few years ago I was carpooling with someone dealing with hospital data and it's just complete garbo. Much less GP data.
@Angle The US government is slowly pushing things in a more connected direction via the software they use, but believe me, doctors would rather just keep faxing charts around. It's silly.

@Angle Take a look at what deepmind streams is doing. It's at least an internal thing poking at this problem. Data exchange in healthcare is an evil problem though.
