Random Thought: What would happen if you crossed Mastodon with Uber? :/
@Angle A decentralized, free ride share service run by and for trans people, queers, furries, and spoonies? I mean... that would kind of be amazing.
@SuzanEraslan For bonus points, expand it beyond ride sharing. Share any random thing you don't currently need or want to get rid of. :P

@Miller_Geek @Angle @SuzanEraslan hm, a well-known convention for a couple endpoints for isOffering and isNeeding maybe, riding on top of current activitypub use on mastodon, for instance, to leverage the follow graphs, visibility, privacy, and authentication 
@Miller_Geek @SuzanEraslan @djsundog I don't know about putting it on top of mastodon - I think it would need to be it's own thing. It would also need a comparatively large number of servers - multiple per city, probably. All in all probably not feasible, but it is a cool idea. Maybe it could be possible to make something like it, but more like Craigslist, or whatever? "Got a chair I don't want, come and get it."
